Your adventure begins with a 30km cruise across the crystal clear waters of Lake Manapouri with it’s many bush clad islands, sandy beaches, and many coves and bays. On your arrival at West Arm spend some time viewing the information displays at the Department of Conservation Visitor Centre before boarding a coach for the 2km journey underground into the machine hall of the Manapouri Power Station. Then you will be coached across the 670m high Wilmot Pass road to Deep Cove in Doubtful Sound.
Here you will board a spacious and well appointed catamaran to spend the next 3 hours exploring the awe-inspiring beauty of Doubtful Sound with its rugged mountains clad in dense sub-tropical rainforest, and waterfalls cascading down steep mountain sides.

There are plenty of photo opportunities while you explore the many small coves and islands of Doubtful Sound, that the larger vessels cannot. Wildlife is often sighted during the cruise through this remote part of Fiordland World Heritage area.
